VIDEO & SOUND

When I move, I try to notice what is around me. I ask from myself: how present  am I in the moment, where do I stand and what is my relationship with the surrounding? Using simple technology capturing simple everyday moments.

Video "an alien landscape" was among the 10 best work on the East Centric Architecture Triennale 2013 LOST IN TRANS(AP)PARENCIES photo/video competition.

With the "i to i" video I raised a question about nowdays social interactions at the Pixelache Camp 2013.

an alien landscape

This is what I saw when I took a train  from Vienna airport to the city. It was really early in the morning and it was still dark. Then there it was. All those lights, creating this landscape and looking so alien and seeming endless. After I asked from my friend what was it and She told me that this is an oil factory. On my way back to the airport I saw this place in a daylight as well....and it still looked like an alien landscape....instead of a thousand lights there were a silver pipes.

i to i

This is a short documentation from the times when I was living in Helsinki. Every morning moments in the public transport made me ask...What do I see?

It seems more and more that direct eye to eye communication is replacing with i to i communication.... it's iPhone to iPhone communication..... and I am becoming now iAm?

Performance in Koli satama

It was the end of July and the end of Elena's one month artist in residency in Koli, East Finland. We wanted to have a nice conclusion to all of it with all of those nice people who were there...so we decided to gather to the port and have an improvised drumming session with a little fire.

FRANK & WENDY

This is my final work in sound design studies. We all had to choose one animation without any sound and then make our own version of it. My selection was an animation by Priit Pärn and Kaspar Jancis.

The idea of this song is to take a ride to space with a Tallinn's public transport. Current destination: Milkyway

This was composed as a part of my sound design studies. Backround is recorded on a trolleybus and on top of it is made a melody using simple composing techniques.
